The Digitolis Series is a collection of images that came about from
my first venture into the world of computer generated images.
Old works of art would be scanned and digitally manipulated
in order to produce the vast body of work that originally
encompassed a greater number of images than the ones
presented here. Unfortunately, most of those images are no
longer recoverable due to an unexpected hard drive crash (or two)
and what remains has since been divided up into the digital art
galleries listed on this site. The dimensions of each individual piece
are subject to change due to the fact that they can be printed up
on any size poster if need be and these pieces were originally
produced sometime around 2003, but were subsequently revised
over a seven year period (namely in 2005, 2007, and 2010).
Since it is difficult to determine these pieces' original
dates of creation with all the files being saved and
overwritten, all the dates for these digital bodies
of work have been listed as proxies (i.e. circa '03-'07).
This gallery was the first to be produce, hence I consider
it to be the pseudo digital Pangaea from which all of
the other digital bodies of work evolved from.
