The Extra Terrestrial Graffiti Collection is a series of outsider artwork that
can best be described as a cross between quasi Rorschach inspired
ink blots and the iconic paisley patterns that defined the 1960's
counterculture art movement. Shortly after a few works
from this collection were produced, the piece entitled
Interstellar Grafitti (with the incorrect spelling and all)
would go on to serve as the definitive title for this series,
after the Pink Floyd song Interstellar Overdrive
influenced the overall look and tone for this series.
Another creative first (and inevitable one-off) occurs in
the twenty-third piece of this collection, which features
dual sided artwork; which is a pretty nifty gimmick in and
of itself; however, framing a piece such as this is another story...
